Today, March 21st, 2024, I attended the Jobhappening in Kortrijk. This event is designed for companies to recruit students who have recently completed their studies and are looking for job opportunities.

Pre-Event Lunch

A group of friends and I attended together, and before entering the event, we grabbed some pizza or McDonald's for lunch. Once we finished eating, we headed inside, where we received a goody bag containing information flyers and other promotional items.

Event Highlights

Winning the Big Prize

The first stand we encountered offered a chance to spin a wheel and win a prize by entering our email for potential job suggestions. I was fortunate to be the first person of the day to win the big prize, a bol.com gift card.

Engaging with Companies

Throughout the day, we walked around and engaged in conversations with various companies, learning about the opportunities they offered. Tibo and I also took advantage of a CV inspection and tips session to refine our resumes and improve our job application prospects.

Visiting Salvaco

During our exploration, we visited the stand of Salvaco, where Delia is currently doing her internship. We had a conversation about the company and its operations, gaining insights into their work environment and culture.
